In Remembrance

As we remember America’s fallen soldiers this Memorial Day, you may notice red poppy flowers being worn and displayed as a tribute to those we lost. The tradition of wearing poppies was inspired by the WWI poem “In Flanders Fields,” by John McCrae, and today, these little flowers have become a poignant symbol of honor for our fallen heroes.

When you see a red poppy on Memorial Day, remember that behind each one is a brave woman or man who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation’s freedom. Please join me in honoring them.
