National Sunglasses Day

They protect your eyes, make the summer sun bearable, and help you look really, really cool. But the first part is most important! When shopping for sunglasses, make sure they have a label stating, “100% protection against both UVA and UVB.” (UVA and UVB are the sun’s eye-damaging ultraviolet rays.) Not sure if those vintage Ray-Bans make the grade? Your local optical shop can test them for free in under 30 seconds. And remember: Kids need sunglasses too! So stock up on shades for the whole family, and enjoy the summer sun safely!
