September marks the end of summer, ushering in cooler,

busier days. There’s no better way to kick it off than with a day

away from work and extra time with grandparents!

September 7 - Labor Day: As you pause from your labor today, remember those who fought for the workers’ rights we take for granted. Cheers to safe workplaces, weekends, and 40-hour weeks!

September 13 - Grandparents Day: From sage advice to warm hugs, grandparents give from the heart. Take some time to give back and show extra appreciation today!

September 15 - Hispanic Heritage Month Begins: Eight Latin American countries celebrate their independence between today and October 15. Use the month to explore the contributions Hispanic and Latino communities have brought to the U.S.

September 22 - First Day of Fall: With its colorful leaves and the onset of chilly weather, fall has long been seen as the season of transition. What changes do you hope to make before winter arrives?

Did You Know? More homebuyers are making room for grandparents. Fourteen percent of homebuyers last year purchased a multigenerational home — a house for three or more generations to share. Two of these buyers’ top motivations included caring for and spending more time with their aging parents.*
