September 22 - First Day of Fall. Get ready for cozy season! Cooler temperatures may not have reached you yet, but soon it will be time for warm sweaters, hot cocoa, and pumpkin-spiced everything.
September 28 - Good Neighbor Day. Today's a great opportunity to do a good deed for the people next door or introduce yourself to newcomers on your block. Everyone benefits from a stronger sense of community.
September 29 - National Coffee Day. Whether you like a classic black coffee or a white mocha latte with caramel drizzle, enjoy your favorite cup of joe today.

National Preparedness Month - It's the middle of hurricane season and nearly time for winter storms. Is your family and home ready? Take time this month to get the information and supplies you need to be prepared. 1. Create a disaster plan and review it with your entire family. Assemble supplies to secure your home, like plastic sheeting, duct tape, and plywood sized to fit windows. 4. Protect your house by keeping trees trimmed and your roof in good repair. 5. Make extra preparations for risks specific to your region, like earthquakes, wildfires, blizzards, etc.
