MARCH 2026

Spring? Is that you? A new season is at our doorstep. March is

the perfect time to plant fresh ideas and inspiration for life,

home, and everything in between.

March 8: International Women's Day. A global day recognizing the social, economic, and cultural achievements of women - and the ongoing pursuit for equality worldwide.
March 9: Daylight Saving Time Begins. Remember to spring forward! This annual time change is a sure sign that spring is around the corner. How will you use that extra hour of daylight?
March 17: St. Patrick's Day. The luck of the Irish is upon us! Celebrate the Feast of St. Patrick with a little extra green. Today, we're all Irish.
March 20: First Day of Spring. Cue the birds chirping and the blooms blooming - spring is officially here! The spring equinox marks the astronomical start of the season of rebirth and renewal.
Did You Know? Having no credit score can be just as limiting as a poor credit score. Younger buyers or those with limited credit histories should start building their scores early to create a strong credit mix. New scoring models may soon factor in other things like rent payment, savings, and overall financial health - though widespread adoption is still on the horizon.
One Smart Move for March. Check your credit health. March is Credit Education Month, making it an ideal time to review your credit report. You can get a free copy at annualcreditreport.com. Look for any errors or fraudulent activity, and dispute any inaccuracies. Just keep timing in mind: Open disputes can delay loan approvals, so if you're planning to buy or refinance soon, reach out to your loan officer first.
