It's Time to Fall Back

Daylight saving ends this weekend, which means we get to fall back at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday and gain an extra hour of sleep.

Do you ever wonder why we still observe daylight saving time? It started as an attempt to maximize the hours of sunlight and conserve energy during World War I. Oddly enough, numerous studies have found that daylight saving may not save much energy at all.

Whether daylight saving makes sense or not, we still have the pleasure of adjusting our clocks every fall and spring. Luckily, most smart devices handle the time change for us automatically, so there’s not much to do except enjoy that extra hour of shut-eye!
